Nearer to Nature South West invites you to come and visit their wonderful taxidermy display during the school holidays at the Wellington Discovery Forest Centre. This display showcases the amazing native animals found in our Southwest region. There will also be free craft activities for the kids.
The Centre will be open to the public on : Monday 15 to Friday 19 January, Tuesday 23 January and Thursday 25 January, 10.00am – 2.00pm.
Situated in a magnificent jarrah forest found in the Wellington National Park, the Wellington Discovery Forest Centre offers an educational experience for the young and old.
The centre becomes a hub for information regarding the jarrah forest ecology and past management. Incorporated into the Wellington Discovery Forest Centre, are some beautiful short self guided walk trails that wind it’s way through the forest.
