40 years ago Philip began this business as a sole trader with a love for heavy machinery. His passion was the construction of dams while running his farm in Wilga. He sold his farm in 1993 and moved into Collie. Since then he has expanded his earthmoving to include grading, excavation and fencing. His nephew, Michael, joined him in 2013 and together they established East End Contractors. They have done work with local Shires, Department of Parks and Wildlife, and the Department of Education, but what they really enjoy is working with the local community- from digging a hole, to erecting a fence, to constructing a driveway.
