Baarnimarr Reconciliation Park

Established as a joint venture between the Collie Shire Council and the local aboriginal community in 1997, the park is named in honour of Joseph Northover Senior and all Nyoongar people of past and present generations.

Baarnimarr, the tribal name of Joseph Northover means “happy person” “happy go lucky”.
