JourneyWomen

The term JourneyWomen, a play on the medieval description of a skilled practitioner, ‘journeyman’, has been co-opted to describe this exhibition that explores how artists use similar creative inspirations and themes to inform their individual practices. Using a shared plein air art making journey as a point of intersection, Miranda Free’s works frequently explore concepts of temporality and ever-changing nature of landscape while Leanne White’s illustrations for books and wildlife paintings explore the narrative within the landscape.

Two new books, illustrated by Leanne White and written by Jen Sherrington, “Grandpa Read This Book” and “Grandma Love’, will be launched at the opening of the exhibition. Leanne’s illustrations will be exhibited.
