Colliecrete is a research project funded through the State Government’s Royalties for Regions and Collie Futures Fund. The project has three facets:
- Research at Murdoch University to develop geopolymer concrete products using Collie flyash and other industrial byproducts
- Stakeholder and community engagement
- Financial feasibility studies, supply chain analysis and market intelligence studies to produce an Industry Memorandum
The ultimate aim is to attract investors to set up a geopolymer manufacturing industry in Collie and create jobs as we transition away from a coal based economy
