The 7NEWS Top Tourism Town Awards, hosted by Tourism Council WA and Visitor Centres WA, celebrate towns across Western Australia that demonstrate outstanding dedication to promoting tourism and attracting visitors. Collie’s inclusion as a finalist highlights its growing reputation as a must-visit destination for outdoor adventure, cultural heritage, and natural beauty.

With world-class trails, stunning natural attractions, and a vibrant local culture, we are thrilled to see Collie acknowledged on this platform. We encourage everyone to vote and help us secure this prestigious title.”
The submission for Collie’s entry was prepared in partnership with the Shire of Collie, thanks to the Shire of Collie and South32 Worsley Alumina Tourism Partnership Initiative, which continues to support local tourism development.
The next phase of the awards involves public voting, which is now open and runs until Thursday, May 1. The local community and visitors are encouraged to vote for Collie to showcase their appreciation for the town’s unique attractions and welcoming hospitality. By voting, participants have the chance to win a $5,000 WA travel voucher or a $500 RAC Parks & Resorts voucher. Votes can be submitted online at www.toptourismtownwa.com.au.
