Collie River Trail parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5km walk, jog or run.
Starting from Soldiers Park at 8am every Saturday, the course is two loops of the Collie River Trail from bridge to bridge. This volunteer-run event is open to all.
Register at www.parkrun.com/register, print off your barcode and you are ready to participate in any parkrun worldwide.
Prams welcome, one dog on a short lead, children under 11 must be within arms reach of an adult.
The Collie Motorplex hosts at least 8 long track Test’n Tune days throughout the year.
It is a great day to see the drivers test our their cars on the track and entry is free for spectators.
An entry fee of $150.00 does apply for the drivers and $20.00 for their passengers.
All drivers must enter via the Motorsport Australia Member Portal.
Motorsport Australia Speed licence required
Proof of membership to a Motorsport Australia affiliated Club or join Collie Motorplex
‘Speed’ licence is required to be able to take passengers
Long pants, long sleeves, enclosed shoes and helmet required
Canteen will be open on the day to purchase lunch and drinks, EFTPOS now available.

The Agricultural Markets have many stalls displaying such goods as fresh produce, homewares, books, toys, jewellery, accessories, baked goods, local crafts, local art and much more.
The kitchen is open with a sausage sizzle, tea, coffee and cool drinks all available to purchase.

- Art & Craft Fair – 1st June
- Fathers Day Market – 7th September
- Christmas Market – 7th December
Proceeds from the markets assist the Collie Agricultural Society.

The Motorsport Australia WA State Speed Event Series is a grass-roots motorsport series.
They promote safe, club level motorsport and encourage new drivers to hone their driving skills as a potential springboard to other areas.
The events include sprints which involves timed laps with cars sent out in groups of 8 and hill climbs which consist of a short run up a hill.
A fun day out for the family to watch the cars race around the track.
Canteen will be open.

The Historic Motorcycle Club of WA was formed in 1980 and the objective of the Club is to organise events to cater for older racing motorcycles and sidecars in Western Australia and to promote historic competition motorcycle racing in general – “Keeping The Spirit Alive”
They have various classes of machinery that we race, all based on Motorcycling Australia’s GCR Regulations, these include:
VINTAGE Machines built 1920 to 1945
CLASSIC Machines built 1946 to 1962
POST CLASSIC Machines built 1963 to 1972
FORGOTTEN ERA Machines built 1973 to 1982
NEW ERA Machines built 1983 to 1990
Thunderbikes
Juniors for riders under the age of 16 years.
Moderns Machines of the modern era.
Gates open from 9.00am each day, canteen open and FREE entry for spectators.
The Speedway 2023/2024 season runs from October through to April.
Modified Sedans, Limited Sprintcars, Street Stock, Productions will all take to the track this season. Go to the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway website for all the details.
