Dog Friendly Trails in Collie
One of the best ways to explore the natural beauty of Collie with your dog is by walking it! Collie is an official Premier Trail Town and boasts the Wambenger Trails, a network of epic walks, mountain bike and cycle trails, and so much more.
Collie River Walk
Head out on the 7.2km walk with your dog for an easy meander along the Collie River. Quiet and peaceful, this walk is the perfect opportunity to let your dog stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors. Remember to keep your dog on a leash, and be sure to pack water and waste bags for your furry friend.
Collie River Trail
Cycle or walk along the Collie River Trail with your dog from Minningup Pool right to the end to Telfer Pool, following the Collie River on this 9km trail. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife, and spot the variety of birdlife on display. If you feel like it, you can even jump in to Minningup Pool to cool off if it’s a hot day!
Collie Mural Trail Walk
Take your dog on an artwork experience on the Collie Mural Trail Walk, a 6.6km trail that takes you past a collection of outdoor contemporary artworks that tells the stories of Collie.

Lake Kepwari
Lake Kepwari is an ideal spot for dog lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. Offering a variety of activities that will make for a day of adventure, you (and your dog) can swim, walk, and picnic to your heart’s content in the scenic lake. Camp overnight if you want to stay longer.
Stockton Lake
One of the more well-known lakes in Collie, did you know you can also camp with your dog at Stockton Lake? Originally an open-cut mine, the lake is now filled with water to form an artificial lake surrounded by shady trees, making it the perfect summer afternoon place to spend the day.

Harris Dam
A peaceful and quiet place to take a walk and picnic, Harris Dam is the perfect rest stop after a walk along the Bibbulmun Track. Stop off at one of the picnic tables and enjoy an afternoon in the idyllic surroundings with your dog.

What better way to treat your dog than to stop by Ma & Pa’s Delights, the shop that makes it all about your pup? Their all natural dog treats will have them wagging their tails off with delight. Choose from homemade bikkies, bacon bites to banana and peanut butter stars!

Wambenger Lodge is located right on the Collie River and boasts apartments that are nestled in the peaceful surroundings of Collie. All the apartments are fully self-contained and promise a home away from home. Dogs are welcome by arrangement, so be sure to reach out to ask before booking as only certain rooms are dog-friendly.
Collie River Valley Tourist Park
The Collie River Valley Tourist Park is a caravan park that caters for all kinds of travellers, you can pick from a caravan and camping powered site or the cabins they have on site. Whether you’re a grey nomad, a family, or a group of friends out for adventure, the park will make for a comfortable stay, complete with games room, free gas BBQs and a large gazebo for functions! Dogs are welcome on the caravan and camping sites, but have to stay on the leash.
Whispering Pines B&B
Enjoy the retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday like at Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are set within a 10-acre property, promising privacy and luxurious rooms for your stay. Dogs can be accommodated by prior arrangement (they only have 1 dog friendly room, so be sure to ask first!), and they also have an enclosed dog pen which is available for use when you’re out and about!
Glen Mervyn Lodge
The perfect place to retreat to, take your dog and stay at Glen Mervyn Lodge and meet their friendly golden retriever, Sandy! Set on 50 acres of land, the Bibbulmun Track is right next to the Lodge, which promises many incredible hikes to explore.

Head to “The Feddy” as the locals call it and get ready for a great feed. Park up in the outdoor area with your dog and enjoy pub classics like fish and chips and a parmy, or try out their Malay style chicken satay. There’s no better way to unwind than an arvo sesh at the local pub!
The Crown Hotel
One of Collie’s newest venues, the Crown Hotel offers a fantastic menu with a broad range of delectable delights, from familiar favourites with a twist to exotic delicacies you’ll just have to try. Pets are welcome in the beer garden outside through the back entry.
The Wagon
Spread a picnic blanket out on the lawn at Central Park and grab a takeaway coffee and a tasty treat with your dog at The Wagon!
