R U OK? Conversation Convoy

R U OK? Conversation Convoy

R U OK?

The R U OK? Conversation Convoy is coming to Collie as part of its journey through regional Western Australia, encouraging communities to build stronger connections and have meaningful conversations about mental health and wellbeing. Hosted by the Collie Suicide Prevention Network, this free community event invites locals to gather at Central Park for a complimentary Sausage Sizzle Lunch, meet members of the Conversation Convoy team, and access helpful information and resources. It’s a chance to learn how everyday conversations can support friends, family members, neighbours, and colleagues who may be doing it tough, while discovering the important role we can all play in creating a more connected community.

You don’t need to be a counsellor or mental health professional to make a difference. Sometimes simply asking “Are you OK?” and taking the time to listen can have a lasting impact. Enjoy a free community BBQ while connecting with friends, family, and fellow community members in the heart of Collie. Meet the R U OK? team and learn more about the national initiative as it travels through regional Western Australia. Visitors can pick up practical resources focused on wellbeing, connection, and supporting others, while gaining simple tips and confidence to start meaningful conversations. Above all, this welcoming event is an opportunity to strengthen community connections, celebrate Collie’s caring spirit, and encourage everyone to look out for one another, because a conversation could change a life.
