Collie has an important and rich history, from humble beginnings to powering Western Australia for more than a century. Our town is now transforming and preparing for a future that is filled with promise, opportunity, colour and adventure.
Big changes have been happening around Collie, and we’re really proud of what we’ve achieved. To celebrate, we have an exciting program of events from mid-2022 through to March 2023 and we invite you to come and join the festivities.
This project is a collaboration between the Shire of Collie, the South West Development Commission, and the Just Transition Working Group, with major sponsorship from South32. Other sponsors include Synergy, Worsley Power, Premier Coal with many more coming on board to help us celebrate our town.
