Opened in 2022, the Kaniyang Wiilman Suspension Bridge stretches 94 metres across the Collie River, offering hikers panoramic views of the valley below and surrounding jarrah, marri, and yarri forests.
Named in recognition of the Kaniyang and Wiilman people, the Traditional Custodians of the area, the bridge forms part of the popular 5 day, 4 night Wiilman Bilya Trail, that starts and finishes in Collie, circling Wellington Dam. It connects bushwalkers and hikers in a naturally stunning setting and is a quiet, contemplative space that also happens to be a showstopper for the camera roll.
